Make No Little Plans: Vision 2020 Community Forum

Eastern Kentucky University updated the community and campus about the many ongoing and planned campus revitalization initiatives in a Town and Gown Vision 2020 Forum Tuesday evening, June 30, 6-8 p.m. at the EKU Center for the Arts. Dr. Benson was joined on the Center’s main stage by members of the President's Council, City, and County officials.

Leah Banks, Library Specialist and EKU Staff Council President, began her career with EKU Libraries in September 2001, Banks, who has served on the Staff Council for the past four years, holds a bachelor’s degree in health education from EKU.

Board Approves Staff Emeritus Status for Four Retirees

Four recently retired staff members were approved by the Board of Regents for Staff Emeritus status. At its regular scheduled meeting on Oct. 28, the Board granted the honor to Beverly Burrus, Jim Fisher, Laura Melius and Katherine (Kate) Williams.
