EKU Staff Council

The Staff Council is here to:

  • Foster communication and serve as a communication conduit between staff and the President
  • Provide recommendations on all matters pertaining to staff
  • Promote the welfare of all staff through professional development and formal recognition while serving the Mission of the University

Staff Regent Nominations

The current term for the Staff Regent ends on June 30, 2015.

As charged by the Board of Regents, the Staff Council is to conduct the election for Staff Regent. This extremely important position of Staff Regent provides a voice for all staff members to the administration of the University.

The election process requires that someone interested in becoming Staff Regent must provide a Nomination Petition form. Those eligible to run for Staff Regent are any full-time, nonteaching member of the university staff (excluding the President, Vice Presidents, Academic Deans, and Department Chairs). If you are eligible to vote for the Faculty Regent, you are not eligible to vote for or become Staff Regent.

Nomination forms must be completed and submitted to Kalie Templin by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 to Jones 213, CPO 3A.
